Pricing questions

Is there a free trial?

Yes — new institutions start on a free trial with no card required. You only set up billing once you're ready to go live.

What happens if a payment fails?

Nothing happens immediately — non-admin staff and students keep full access for a 7-day grace period so you have time to update a card or contact us, and your admin account never loses access, since they're the one who needs to fix it.

Can we change plans later?

Yes, any time from Settings → Billing. A plan change takes effect on your next payment — switching doesn't charge you immediately.

Does every plan get the full platform, or are some features locked to higher tiers?

Every plan — Starter included — gets the entire platform: CBT, AI tools, finance, the works. Plans differ by institution size and support level, not by which features you're allowed to use.

How do we pay?

Billing runs through Paystack, the same gateway already used for student and staff fee payments elsewhere in InstiServe — card and bank payment supported.
